  • Wanderers team: (4-2-3-1) Bogdan, Mears, Knight, Dawson, Ricketts, Spearing, Pratley, Chung-Yong, Eagles, Ngog, C Davies
  • Subs: Lonergan, Holden, Wheater, K Davies, Sordell, M Davies, De Ridder

9:40pm

That's it - 1-1.

9:29pm

Ward headed in at far post.

Mark Davies on for Eagles.

9:27pm

GOAL DERBY

9:19pm

Sammon drags a shot just wide. Craig Davies gave away possession and it almost cost Wanderers dear.

9:16pm

Bogdan denies Coutts again. Great block by Ricketts as Ward followed up.

9:13pm

Attendance: 22,145

9:12pm

Wanderers fans singing Kevin Davies' name

9:10pm

Kevin Davies on for Ngog.

9:09pm

Fine block by Spearing on Sammon's attempted cross. Wanderers under the cosh again.

9:04pm

Brilliant save from Bogdan to push away Coutts' volley

9:00pm

Wanderers fans in fine voice. Football not exactly warming them up.

8:57pm

8:52pm

Eagles and Ngog combined brilliantly on edge of the box - shot from Ngog dips just over bar.

8:51pm

Back up and running at Pride Park

8:44pm

Sky saying Bryson o.g - anyone seen a replay??

8:36pm

That's half time too. Decent finish, dire stuff otherwise!

8:36pm

Internet went down - but Dawson claiming the goal. Spearing's free kick was headed past Legzdins. Bit of confusion about whether it was an own goal, but the Whites defender is claiming it.

8:31pm

GOAL WANDERERS

8:24pm

Ngog has a half chance at one end, saved by Legzdins. At the other, home fans incensed when Sammon is adjudged to have fouled Knight when it looked he had beaten him for pace.

8:18pm

Bryson heads just wide from Hendrick's cross. Close as anything has got so far.

8:16pm

"Groin" injury. Seems fine now he has counted them...

8:14pm

Ben Davies on for Freeman. That's just what the games needs... another Davies.

8:12pm

Craig Dawson down at the moment, with a tender looking injury. Brought tears to my eyes...

8:11pm

Fans keeping themselves amused while there was a break in play for an injury to Freeman. Not much to entertain them on the pitch for the last 10 mins.

I can see this being another disappointing away draw.
Would love to be proved wrong!

8:08pm

Good claim by Bogdan under a high ball from Coutts. That has settled the early nerves.

8:06pm

Well the early promise has gone, just like the feeling in my fingertips.

8:06pm

Well the early promise has gone, just like the feeling in my fingertips.

8:01pm

Derby fans have given up jeering Mears now and remembered they hate Forest.

7:56pm

Tyrone Mears gets a savage reception on his first touch. Forgotten he'd played for Derby...

7:55pm

Wanderers fans serenading "Fat Frank" - who despite the sub zero temperature, has his top off.

7:53pm

Nice open game so far. Eagles just played a brilliant pass out to Chungy on right wing - half volley, 35 yards.

7:51pm

Ngog gets a first shot in on goal, turning on the edge of the box. Easy gather for Legzdins.

7:49pm

Shaky start for Bogdan. Sammon nearly charged down another kick there.

7:48pm

It's 4-4-2 from the start. Eagles on left, Chungy on right.

7:47pm

Knight makes a vital block as Jamie Ward strikes a shot towards goal on the spin.

7:45pm

Not a great start. Bogdan just came out to clear a long ball and crashed into Dawson. Corner conceded.

7:44pm

Ready for kick-off now. Feels a bit like a fairground with all this blasting dance music...

7:41pm

Players now out on the pitch. Line-ups being read out.

7:39pm

You know the old saying, you can't please everyone???

7:39pm

Rammy the mascot being announced like a new signing...

7:38pm

Predict there will be a few more Wanderers fans by the time the game starts!

7:36pm

Wanderers fans away to my right, players in the tunnel.

7:28pm

I think they will start 4-2-3-1, with Ngog or Craig Davies on the right hand side. Easy to alter the formation without having to make a substitution, though.

7:27pm

7:22pm

Bit of James and Sit Down pre-kick off. Very nice.

7:21pm

7:20pm

Found a small complaint about Pride Park. These wobbly press benches mean that every time someone sits down in front of me, my laptop nearly ends up on the floor. If things suddenly go quiet, you know what has happened.

7:17pm

He has travelled, I have been told. Not injured.

7:16pm

7:14pm

7:14pm

Haven't been told he is injured. Wasn't at the press conference on Monday, though.

7:10pm

7:06pm

Lots of positivity about the line-up from Wanderers fans, but can Dougie Freedman's side deliver now? We've been here before, but I think there is something a little bit different about the team at the minute. Have a good feeling about tonight!

7:04pm

6:59pm

Four changes for Wanderers - in come Sam Ricketts, Chris Eagles, David Ngog and Craig Davies. Out go the suspended Marcos Alonso, Steve de Ridder, Mark Davies and Kevin Davies.

Think theres more strengh on the bench, so dont think its the strongest line up to start off with, would have been happier with Lonergan,Wheater,Hol

That might be obvious to 99% of fans but Dougie seems to be one for complicating the issue!

Disagree totally with some of the above comments about putting Holden and Wheater in from the start.
Holden cannot be considered from the start for a good while, his name doesn't precede just how bad his injury was in terms of playing a full 90 mins..! Remember last time he wasn't quite right and started a game??...if you're not fit enough to finish a game at full steam or close to it then you should NEVER start a game...same applies to Wheater. They are 45-60 minutes match-fit and on the bench for impact more than anything.
And how can you drop Bogdan after his best performance. He was MOM at Forest, please...this is the opportunity to give him confidence and for him to get back to form...some backwards thinking fans think about NOTHING except seeing their favourite players on the pitch like Freedman said....
Come on Bolton fans, stop thinking about the next few weeks, months or even rest of this season...WE AIN'T GOING UP...so look long-term which means we mustn't aggravate key players' injuries and demote our prospect players...

Derby County are the latest in a long list of championship sides to put our 'premiership' players under intense pressure. I'm sure Dougie Freedman had no idea how much work would be needed to turn things around at this club.
