Bolton Wanderers prepared to tackle Charlie Austin
WANDERERS boss Dougie Freedman says his players have done their homework on how to tackle QPR hitman Charlie Austin.
Freedman admitted the team had already been briefed on the Rangers new boy prior to the season opener at his former club Burnley before his last-ditch move down south.
“We all know what Charlie Austin is going to do but trying to stop him is another thing,” said Freedman.
“You know he likes to pull off to the back post and around the penalty spot area, where he gets his goals.
“Our decision-making has to be right but our players are well-drilled in what to expect from QPR.
“We need to be disciplined in our approach and make sure we have done our homework on the likes of Austin and Bobby Zamora.”
