Dougie Freedman says tiredness will not be a problem for Bolton Wanderers
FATIGUE should not be a factor for Wanderers despite their extended midweek match at Tranmere, predicts Dougie Freedman.
Injuries mean the Whites boss may have to name a patched-up side against Blackburn tomorrow.
But he is backing those who will be playing their third game in a week to cope with the physical demands.
“I think we’re a very fit group. I had to lower the age group when I first came in so that we could deal with the demands of the Championship, week-in, week-out,” he said.
“Three games in a week won’t harm us but we have got one or two injury concerns – they’re not excuses, they’re just facts.
“We need to stick together right now and make sure in the derby we give a good, solid performance for the fans.”
