New boy relishing Freedman link-up
NEW boy Neil Danns is looking forward to rejoining his ex-Crystal Palace colleague Dougie Freedman at Wanderers.
The loan signing from Leicester City played alongside the Wanderers boss at Selhurst Park and also under his tutelage there when Freedman was assistant manager to Paul Hart in 2010.
Now the 30-year-old, who has signed for three months and could make his debut against Yeovil today, is hoping to help the Scot lead Wanderers off the bottom.
“Obviously he’s learnt a lot since I was last with him, so it will be nice to work with him again and take on board some of the stuff that he’s learned along the way, which hopefully I can add to my game,” he said.
“My aim is just to do the best I can for the duration of my stay and hopefully that can help the team push on.
“I’m hoping I can add my strengths and help the team.”
