Andre Moritz can light up the Reebok Stadium
ANDRE Moritz is back in the reckoning for Wanderers – just in time to provide a home spark.
The Brazilian playmaker has missed more than two months with a groin injury and has yet to start a game since arriving in the summer.
Dougie Freedman confirmed the former Crystal Palace man will be back in the fold to face Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow, and the Whites boss believes he will add an ingredient that has been missing at times this season.
“I think he’s someone we have especially missed at home. We have needed someone who can open up the door at times.
“You think back to the Yeovil game where they sat back and defended their penalty area for so long, I just think that bit of extra quality he has got would have made things easier.
“He’s back now and he could definitely feature in some way, shape or form.”
David Ngog is also in contention after pulling out of the squad at Birmingham in Wanderers’ last outing.
The French striker has recovered from the calf problem that caused him to pull out of the squad to face Birmingham City before the international break.
