WANDERERS

(4-2-3-1)

ANDY LONERGAN...7 Beaten by Robinson’s header but came collect/punch away everything after that. Continues to lend a calm head at the back.

KEVIN MCNAUGHTON...7 Provided grit on the right and won back a lot of possession, trying to join in further forward when he could.

MATT MILLS...8 Another big day for the former Donny favourite who was dominant at the back and should have had a goal to show for his efforts.

TIM REAM...7 Picked off a few Doncaster passes that threatened to go through and used the ball well again. Happier in the middle, though.

ALEX BAPTISTE...7 Returned well at left-back and tried hard to get beyond his winger and join in. Like McNaughton, helped by Donny’s lack of width.

DARREN PRATLEY...8 Looked desperate to get a goal and went close a number of times. His hard work gave Wanderers a platform to play from.

JAY SPEARING...7 Yes, a few passes went astray but Spearing’s hassling and chasing set the tone for Wanderers in that important first half spell.

CHRIS EAGLES...8 Back in the team and back at his swaggering best in stages. A very good indication that he can still play a major part for Wanderers.

ANDRE MORITZ...9 Ran the show for the most part with his trickery and incision causing no end of problems for Doncaster. Great goal too.

CHUNG-YONG LEE...8 Muted on Tuesday night but right on his game against Rovers. Always available and offered more penetration than has been the case recently.

JOE MASON...8 Great debut. Showed several classy touches and thoroughly rewarded his manager’s decision to throw him on from the start.
