Ex-Bolton Wanderers man Frank McParland takes Brentford backroom role

FRANK McParland, the former Wanderers general manager, has landed a new role with Brentford.

McParland was part of the backroom established in Sammy Lee’s short time in charge at the Reebok but is best known for heading up the academy at Liverpool.

He left Anfield at the end of November but has quickly been snapped up by League One Brentford as sporting director after Mark Warbuton’s appointment as manager.
