ANDRE Moritz has made a plea for patience from the terraces as Wanderers welcome Middlesbrough this afternoon.

The Samba star’s goalscoring form has been one of the bright points of an otherwise disappointing December, with four in his last four starts.

Wanderers go into today’s clash sitting 18th – nine points off the play-off places – and with frustration starting to rise among supporters.

But Moritz remains confident that the current side will dig themselves out of trouble and start to climb the table. “We need a bit of patience and maybe a bit of luck,” he said. “Sometimes you win games having only half a chance and the other team has 10-15 chances and doesn't score. It could be like that against Middesbrough, so we just have to believe.

“It is about keeping focus, keeping positive and putting the ball in the back of the net.

“I do believe we have a strong team, we just need to have that little bit more focus and it will come for us, I am sure of it.”
