WANDERERS have allowed young midfielder Gary Fraser to join Partick Thistle on a permanent basis.
The 19-year-old had only recently returned from a loan spell with the Scottish club which was blighted by a lengthy suspension.
Dougie Freedman had cited Fraser's return as one of the chief reasons for allowing Jan Gregus to leave the club last week but has now taken the decision to release him from a two-year deal signed in the summer.
Fraser was signed from Hamilton in July after turning down a chance to play for the club several months earlier.
He did not make a single first team appearance and was loaned out immediately to Thistle, where he played four first team games before picking up a lengthy ban.
The youngster was sent off while playing for Thistle's reserves against Dunfermline on October 22, earning an automatic two-game suspension.
The SFA then gave him another seven game ban after a disciplinary committee found him guilty of seizing opponent Chris Kane, "causing him to fall to the ground and kicking him repeatedly on the head and body".
Thistle are awaiting clearance ahead of Saturday's game against Ross County.
Fraser has signed a two-and-a-half year deal.
