OH dear, we blew it again.

It’s tough being a Wanderers fan as times are hard these days down at the Reebok.

The atmosphere in the Fanzone was like a morgue. You could feel the tension.

Three points were a must and this was our best chance of getting them.

The team was announced to a chorus of groans and only the Reebok Rebels drew a cheer as they tried their best to lift the gloom.

Inside the ground we did our best to lift the team in appalling weather conditions.

Fans were wearing the same lucky socks and tried to enter by their lucky turnstiles they used when we last won.

The team were cheered onto the pitch and Bogdan received a warm welcome back between the sticks.

For the first half hour, everything went well. We looked organised at the back and good going forward and it was a relief when Lee rekindled his scoring touch to put us in front, followed by a great individual effort from Jutkiewicz.

Two minutes later Bournemouth pulled one back through an unstoppable shot from Grabbon and it killed us.

All the good work went to waste as our movement and drive evaporated.

It was no surprise when Bournemouth equalised and but for a series of good saves from Bogdan, they would have won this match.

Two-nil up and we blew it again.

Without a league win in 2014, where do we go from here?

Everybody has their villains, everybody has their opinion.

It’s not inquest time. We need to concentrate on keeping the patient alive.

We have to go with what we’ve got. We’ve maximised our credit card, so there’s little room to manoeuvre on the financial front.

What we need is leadership and character.

Mental strength is critical in these situations.

We all need to pull together, fans included to get us through these difficult times.

Get those lucky socks ready for Burnley!
