WANDERERS (4-2-3-1)

ADAM BOGDAN...6 Made a couple of relatively routine saves and had a few nervous moments early in the first half on a slippy pitch.

ALEX BAPTISTE...7 Showed a real willingness to get forward and support his winger and didn’t do much wrong in a defensive sense.

DAVID WHEATER...6 Early yellow could have been an issue but the returning defender kept it simple after that and did okay.

MATT MILLS...6 Solid on the defensive front but those long punts out of defence were testing the crowd’s patience towards the end.

TIM REAM...6 One of his better performances at left-back but questions have to be asked about the cross for the goal.

MEDO KAMARA...6 Withdrawn as a tactical measure but had protected the back four well, using the ball sensibly.

JAY SPEARING...6 Improved on Saturday’s performance but still not the dynamic midfielder of last season. In need of a rest?

CHUNG-YONG LEE...6 Electric in the first half but virtually anonymous in the second half. Saw little of the ball late on in the game.

LIAM TROTTER...6 Missed a decent header in the first half but the midfielder put himself in the mix consistently.

CHRIS EAGLES...6 Frustration got the better of him in the end. It had been a good hour – and Eagles provided some decent crosses.

LUKAS JUTKIEWICZ...8 Worked so hard for the cause up front alone. Burnley struggled to contain him all night.
