WANDERERS (4-2-3-1) ADAM BOGDAN...6 One poor punch in the first half nearly proved costly but the keeper was desperately unlucky not to keep a clean sheet in second half.

ALEX BAPTISTE...6 Nearly scored the goal of the season and linked up well enough with the midfield. Equally, though, Millwall got in behind him too often.

MATT MILLS...7 Solid game from the bearded centre-back, who has shown signs of forming a decent partnership with David Wheater in the last few games.

DAVID WHEATER...8 Misjudged a couple of early high balls but defended superbly after that. One magnificent goall-line clearance and any number of blocks.

TIM REAM...6 Man in the mask didn’t hide away. He’s not a left-back but he isn’t letting anyone down at the moment.

MEDO KAMARA...6 Got stuck in but never dominated in midfield. Contributed to a decent defensive effort from Wanderers at The Den.

JAY SPEARING...6 Like Medo, didn’t really control the game but certainly saw more of the ball than he did against Burnley in midweek.

CHRIS EAGLES...6 Lots of chasing, one assist and one free-kick that bounced off the post – but not a whole lot else from the winger.

MARK DAVIES...5 Just went missing far too often for a game of this magnitude. He was a playmaker who didn’t make any play.

DARREN PRATLEY...5 Ran himself to a standstill, as ever, but it just isn’t happening for Pratley at the moment and his game is suffering for it.

LUKAS JUTKIEWICZ...7 Took his goal beautifully and led the line well. That one blot on his copybook, the penalty miss, was a costly one, though.

Subs: Danns 73 for Eagles – Denied one shooting chance with an excellent challenge 5 Knight 79 for Davies – A defensive move but did little wrong personally 6 Chung-Yong 90(+1) for Pratley – Maybe should have been on from the start? 5 Not used: Lonergan, Hall, Vela, White.

STAR MAN – David Wheater The Redcar Rock continues to look like a completely different player from the one that laboured so badly at the start of the season. Threw his body into everything and made one outstanding block on the line from Woolford.

MILLWALL (4-2-3-1) DAVID FORDE...6 RYAN FREDERICKS...6 ALAN DUNNE...6 DANNY SHITTU...7 SCOTT MALONE...7 ED UPSON...6 SHAUN WILLIAMS...7 LEE MARTIN...6 JERMAINE EASTER...5 MARTYN WOOLFORD...7 STEVE MORISON...7 Subs: Jackson 56 (for Easter) 6, Campbell 56 (for Martin) 6, McDonald 56 (for Upson) 6 Not used: Bywater, Robinson, Feeney, Powell.

THEIR STAR MAN – Scott Malone Millwall set themselves up in a similar shape to Wanderers – and the rampaging left-back showed them exactly what they are missing by having a specialist give them some width.
