MATCHDAY LIVE SPECIAL: Wanderers U21s v Everton U21s
This live event has finished
That's it and it's finished 3-2 to Everton.
The big news of the night is Stuart Holden's injury blow...fingers crossed it's not more bad news for the American
It was nearly all square again but Hall's close-range effort from an acute angle cannons back off the face of the bar on 89 mins
The chances have been few and far between as we go into the final 10 mins and it's still 3-2 to Everton
Fine strike by Conor McAleny makes it 3-2 to Everton on 64 mins.
It's all happening here now..penalty to Wanderers as Matthew Pennington brings down Hall.
Josh Vela steps up but his low effort is saved at full stretch by Springthorpe by his left-hand post.
It stays 2-2....phew! what a five minutes!
The lead didn't last long as Everton level within two minutes...poked in on the line by Kennedy...it's 2-2.
It's there for Wanderers as Iliev pounces to side-foot home after Rob Hall's angled effort was parried out by Springthorpe.

Second half underway and it's still 1-1. Everton looking brighter at the start of second period
GOAL for Wanderers on 39 mins as a mix-up between defender and keeper leaves an empty net gaping and Georg Iliev smashes home to level it up at 1-1
Superb searching ball from Josh Vela almost finds Chris Lester but cut out at the last minute
Zach Clough goes close to a leveller on 30 mins but his looping volley comes back off the post with Springthorpe beaten
Luke Woodland comes on for Holden and within minutes there is further bad news for the Whites as Rob Holding hauls down Courtney Duffus in the box and Luke Garbutt strokes home the resulting penalty with aplomb
Holden goes down again with no-one near him clutching the back of his kne.
He jumps staright up but knows that is his night over after 23 minutes.
He jogs off, promisingly, but cannot hide his dejection as he goes straight down the tunnel. Here's hoping it is not a serious blow
21 mins: good chance for Zach Clough who fashions a chance inside the box but sees his low left-footer saved to his right by Springthorpe
Another worrying sign on 18 minutes as Holden plays a low pass out wide and then immediately holds the back of his right knee as if he felt a twinge. He has run it off for now and hopefully it was just a bit of rustiness after so long sidelined.
Now it's Everton's turn to go close on the break, Matthew Kennedy dragging a low shot wide of the far post
Great link-up play between Holden and Clough ends with the latter forcing a near-post save out of EFC stopper Mason Springthorpe
Holden has just cause a few jitters in the stand as he bends down feeling his thigh but it looks like it is just a bit of stretching thankfully
Hall has started well and already weaved into the Everton box twice before running out of space
Away from Holden, Rob Hall is also involved tonight against an Everton side coached by former Wanderer Alan Stubbs
34 secs and the first touch for Holden is a simple short pass and gets a cheer from those inside the Reebok
Here come the teams and Holden is greeted by a solitary fan's chant of "USA"....
