PARENTS and coaches of football clubs across Bolton have signed up to an initiative to not shout during matches.
Lancashire FA are staging the Silent Weekend on Saturday and Sunday and it requires all adults present at grassroots youth and mini-soccer matches to refrain from shouting and then reflect on how that felt.
The Bolton News will be at a chosen game and will be reporting on how the parents behaved as well as how the youngsters performed on the pitch. We will also shoot a video and report all the reaction to the scheme.
You can kick off Silent Weekend by giving your opinion on the comments facility at the bottom of this page.
Then after your game let us know how it went by emailing robert.kelly@nqnw.co.uk or tweeting @robertkelly83.
