WANDERERS are sweating on the fitness of Joe Mason ahead of Saturday’s home clash with Brighton.
The striker was unwell in midweek, which forced him to sit out the 0-0 draw at Derby, and now has an ear infection.
The same complaint will sideline Andy Lonergan, although Dougie Freedman says he is “hopeful” that Mason will be able to play some part at the Reebok.
Matt Mills is still a week away from returning to training, while Jermaine Beckford is still doubtful.
Longer-term absentees Joe Riley (knee), Marc Tierney (broken leg), Stu Holden (knee) and Darren Pratley (shoulder) are definitely out.
