Hoping Mason returns to the line-up, no doubt the result at derby was a positive one in my opinion, Do we know If Bolton are considering buying 'The Juke' read he wants to join and feels its a prefect fit, I am very much inclined to agree.

I know DF favours 4-5-1 because it worked at Crystal Palace, I feel the diamond 4-4-2 works at Bolton, don't change a winning formation unless you have no other option.

I read in the local paper recently Dougies plan was coming together.
Brighton were comfortably the better side today and deserved to win by more.
Far too many unforced errors from a Manager who appears not to learn his lessons - three men in central midfield in the first half no right sided midfield player though Danns who played in the emphatic win over Blackburn on the bench.

Far more questions than answers and the club are no further forward since Dougie took over.

Freedman has got to go every time he gets a winning team he changes it and never has a back up plan he has no tactical skills the players today seemed to be lacking energy and a will to win! I am sure we will get the usual we can take some positives from the game or the team was tired from the mid week game! The average person works 40 hours a week and are not athletes the team is and tired after 3 hours work!

They are all ill methinks. Watching from the stands that was back to square one. But I will say that ref was terrible... definitely needs his bank account checking for a betting return. Pardon my Frrench Marc Ills but that ref was a total t0aster today :p

On another note Marc the team got bullied off the pitch at every opportunity. I do not know if it is just me but every Brighton player seemed at least a foot wider and taller. What has happened to the physical Bolton presence? It seems teams have gotten to know this, they also know how to get under our skin. I'm as guilty as any for screaming WTF was that... I don;t know, maybe we need to make the stadium a cauldron of fire for the opposition, but there is just no atmosphere at all... none bar the odd shout of discontent.

As for that disallowed goal today... from my position in the ground I have to say I disagree with the assistant. But you see some given and some not...

And I honestly do think some of the lads seemed jaded today, was it illness?

Bullied though Marc... we were bullied pure and simple. In fact the same tactics employed by some of our players saw them penalized. The referee was clueless and certainly was not fit to referee a Championship match. He certainly was NOT impartial. DF needs to address that with the referees association, not that it will change the result, but whether he was just shoddy or being bias the decisions were remarkable. I do not know what you saw from your position or whether you agree. Suspect is an understatement.

At 1-1 that would have been a different game, but the heads went down after that, and can you blame the lads for that with such an inept official in the middle?
