The players are leaving the tunnels

2:53pm

A quick reminder that the game will kick-off at 15:07 in rememberance of the Hillsborough disaster

2:51pm

Barnsley have only kept one clean sheet away from home all season, surely we are guaranteed goals today?

2:47pm

He last officiated Bolton in August when they were defeated 1-0 at home by QPR

2:46pm

Today's referee is James Adcock from Nottinghamshire

2:41pm

Hutton does go on to say...

“It’s been fairly easy to slot into the side. I already knew Zat Knight because he’s from the Birmingham area and I’d previously played against a couple of the boys.
“Sometimes it takes you a while to settle at a new club, especially when you come on loan, but the team have made it so easy for me and I’m already comfortable around the club.
“Being here is a great opportunity for me – hopefully I’ll be able to continue playing regularly and to the best of my ability which, in turn, will help Bolton climb up the league table.”

2:41pm

With Moritz (7) and Beckford (6) playing a huge part in that

2:41pm

Big interview with Alan Hutton in the pre-match programme which barely mentions his time at Wanderers, nor his time at Aston Villa post-Alex McLeish.

2:40pm

Although Freedman has made six changes today, the starting 11 still have scored 22 league goal between them this season

2:36pm

2:36pm

2:36pm

2:31pm

But their main threat comes in the form of 6ft 2' striker Chris O'Grady who has over one third of the Yorkshire outfits total goals this season with 13

2:28pm

And ex-Bayern Munich midfielder Dale Jennings has netted in both of those away games

2:27pm

The Tykes have scored seven goals in their last two away games

2:25pm

Barnsley subs: Turner, Hunt, Proschwitz, Mellis, McCourt, Hassell, Cranie

2:24pm

Barnsley starting XI: Steele, Kennedy, M'voto, Nyatanga, McLaughlin, Etuhu, Lawrence, Dawson, Jennings, Cywka, O'Grady

2:11pm

Bay City Rollers playing to a still-empty Reebok at the moment. Quite surreal.

2:11pm

2:08pm

2:07pm

2:07pm

2:07pm

2:07pm

So that's six changes from the other night at Doncaster. And perhaps the strongest bench I've seen since Wanderers came down from the Prem.

2:04pm

BWFC subs: Lonergan, Knight, Wheater, Medo, Danns, Mason, Jutkiewicz.

2:04pm

BWFC team: Bogdan, Hutton, Mills, Ream, Baptiste, Trotter, Spearing, Hall, Lee, Moritz, Beckford.

2:00pm

Dougie teeing up some changes in the programme - and many of you feel that means a place for Liam Trotter in today's line-up.

As you may be aware it's the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough Disaster, with today's game kicking off seven minutes later than normal in recognition of the lives that were lost on that tragic day. It is entirely fitting that the anniversary of the occasion should be marked in this way and I'm sure that all fans will honour the silence that is due to take place today.

Dougie Freedman in his programme notes

1:25pm

Our fans can appreciate some of the changes in our starting line-up today, as the last two away games have placed a huge physical demand on the players.

Dougie Freedman in his programme notes

1:16pm

Another illogical rant from DouglASS."The loan strategy is working".What happens when all the loned players are called back to their parent clubs and Bolton are left with a depleted squad?.Does he go back to the "bank" and withdraw some more rental players who aren't quite good enough to play for their own team? Get a team of our own Like Burnley did.Burnley have less money than Bolton and they're doing okay.
