SIX-SHOOTING Benson Johnson wreaked havoc as Queen Anne continued their storming start to the new Division One season with a 15-0 defeat of Queen Lizzy.

And Mark Truffas was not far behind, scoring four as the the home side proved unstoppable. Further goals came from Paul Lomax, James Inhel, Oliver Hodgekinson, Ryan Ferris and a Lee Ward own goal.

Farnworth United, Newbury and Morris Dancers have also started the campaign with two wins from two games.

Matt Finley and Anthony Harrison scored two apiece and there were also goals from Aaron Monks and Jason Knowles as Farnworth United won 6-2 at Moses Gate, John Armour and Danny Lowe on target for the home side.

Visitors D Havilland gave Morris Dancers a run for their money in a close contest, which the Dancers edged 4-3.

Leigh Fitzsimmons scored two and Sean Rothwell and Gareth Gemill were on target for the home side, Kieron Marsh, Josh Orrell and Reece Jones scoring for D Havilland.

Tom Jones was on song for Newbury, scoring both goals in a 2-1 victory over Deane Athletic, whose goal was scored by Gareth Cunliffe.

In Division Two, Jordan Edge scored a hat-trick as Brindley Arms got their season off to a good start with a 4-2 win at Rumworth Great Lever.

Dylan Ross was also on target for Brindley, Sloaney scoring both of Rumworth’s goals.

Astley Bridge and Great Lever Wanderers were involved in a goal rush, which the visiting Wanderers won 6-5.

Ant Greer score a hat-trick for the visitors with the other goals coming from Kris Preston (two) and Pat Duncan.

Bridge’s goals came from a Lee Jones double, Joe Aspen, Louis Gallagher and Kieran Louchran.

Breightmet Wanderers opened their account with a 13-1 win at Dean Athletic with goals from Ron Walsh (four), Tyron Taylor (three) Josh Derbyshire (two), Kieran Seals (two), Sam James and Nile Callaghan.
