WANDERERS face a fitness worry over striker Craig Davies after he was taken off in yesterday’s 0-0 draw at Reading as a precautionary measure.
The Wales international complained of tightness in his hamstring at the Madejski Stadium and was replaced by Connor Wilkinson midway through the second half.
Davies has been in fine form of late for the Whites and had scored three goals in his previous six outings.
And Neil Lennon revealed the next few days could be crucial to determine whether the 28-year-old will be able to feature against Ipswich Town next weekend.
“Craig Davies is a bit of a worry for us right now,” he said. “He came off with a bit of a hamstring complaint. We’ll assess him over the next couple of days and see where he is.”
Should Davies miss out against the Tractor Boys, Wilkinson, Joe Mason and Eidur Gudjohnsen would be in contention for a role up front.
