WANDERERS will have to wait until next week to play on-loan Manchester United full-back Saidy Janko.
Whites boss Neil Lennon has revealed a paperwork error by United late on transfer deadline day has left the Swiss youth international ineligible for this weekend’s trip to Derby County.
The 19-year-old signed in a shock deal which saw Andy Kellett go in exchange to Old Trafford, and his move could become a permanent one next summer with his contract due to expire.
“His registration wasn’t sent from their end in time, so he’s signed but won’t be able to play at the weekend,” Lennon confirmed.
“Maybe time ran out, I don’t know, but it definitely wasn’t from our end.”
Kellett, meanwhile, could make his first appearance for United in the development squad on Monday night as they take on Chelsea at Leigh Sports Village.
