BREIGHTMET United stayed top of Division Three with a 6-4 home win over Ainsworth B for whom Anthony Grindrod scored and Micky Jefferson netted a hat-trick.

Failsworth Home Guard replaced Broadway in second place by beating them 3-2 on Broadway’s turf, but with games in hand, Broadway still have the chance of topping the Division.

Dave Fahay and Rob Glover scored for the home side, but a Dan Stokes hat-trick gave Failsworth the points.

Dobbies remain fourth following their 3-1 home win over Elton Liberals. Chris Ainsworth and Jason Eccles scored for Dobbies, with goalkeeper Anthony Healey scoring the other goal through a long kick from his own area.

Radcliffe Old Boys C beat Bolton Wyresdale 2-1. Mark Owen and Steve Godridge scored for Radcliffe and Simon Walsh for the visitors.

In Division Two, Radcliffe Old Boys B and Ashtonians shared the points from a 2-2 draw with Tim Leigh scoring both Radcliffe goals

BLGC beat Old Boltonians 1-0 to put the sides level in the table.

Queen Lizzie stay top of Division One following a narrow win at struggling Astley Bridge. Clint McCoughlin scored a brace and Chris Rothwell their other while Colin Entwhistle and Scott Hilton scored for Astley Bridge.

Atherton Town are a point behind the leaders, with three games in hand, and they kept up the pressure with a 4-1 home win over Moorside Rangers. Stuart Rudd, Dave Fashou, Neal Lee and Gary Peachey scored the Atherton goals and Paul Wheeling gave Moorside a consolation goal.

With eight points separating the top six teams, Daten, with seven matches remaining, kept their hopes alive with a 5-0 demolition of Radcliffe Old Boys A. Scott Taylor, Chris Burnett, Lee Newbold, Paul McKeirnon and Horaine Goffe scored the goals.
