WHITES midfielder Neil Danns has been called up for the Guyana squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifying matches.

The 32-year-old made his international debut for the Golden Jaguars in March's friendly against Grenada and is in line for a World Cup bow in the double header against St Vincent and the Grenadines on June 10 and 15 with the first meeting away from home.

Young Whites striker Conor Wilkinson is also in line for international action for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s as they face two friendlies against England sides.

They host an England C team in Galway on Monday before facing Gareth Southgate's Three Lions under-21s at St George's Park the following Friday.

Meanwhile, former Wanderers loanee Barry Bannan has been named in the Scotland squad for their forthcoming games against Qatar on June 5, and Republic of Ireland on June 13.

Recently-released youngster Luke Woodland has also been named in the Philippines squad for the first time and could make his debut in a home World Cup qualifier against Bahrain on June 11.
