TYLDESLEY Senior Mens water polo team are making a splash in the Lake District.

Ten senior men from the club are travelling north to swim the length of every swimable lake in the Lake District between August 14-16.

They are taking on the challenging lakes of Ulswater Bassenthwaite, Derwent Water, Buttermere, Crummock, Loweswater, Wast Water, Grasmere ,

Rydal Water,Coniston and finally Windermere in a swim which equates to 39 miles in just three days.

The men who will be swimming include: Adam Toone, Lee Toone, Rob Bond, Aaron Atherton, Aaron Royle, Scott Royle, Jamie MacDonald, John Fletcher, Addison Brown and Jonathon Stafford.

The group is aiming to raise money for Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo Club as without the backing from the Club the Water Polo Team would not have been able to re-enter the British Water Polo League this year.

Last month, Your Sport reported how the men's senior team lost by a single goal to Bridgefield in their most recent match where Addison Brown led the way with six goals in a 15-14 loss.
