BOLTON rider Chris Latham claimed a bronze medal for Team GB on the penultimate day of the European Track Championships in Switzerland.
The 21-year-old made it down to the final three in the elimination race, which was making its debut at the event.
He just missed out on the final after the field had been whittled down from 18 riders, with Bryan Coquard earning gold for France ahead of Italy's Simone Consonni.
Jon Dibben's gutsy ride in the scratch race, the final discipline of the six-race omnium, also saw him add another bronze for Great Britain in Saturday's racing.
Great Britain's Katie Archibald defended her individual pursuit title yesterday while Ciara Horne took bronze as both riders claimed their second medal in Grenchen after their gold in the team pursuit.
