EAGLEY FC have promoted from within to appoint a new reserve team management duo, with Craig Coote and Oliver Clarke taking on the role.
Coote, a central midfielder, and Clarke, a striker, are taking on the role after caretaker manager and U14s coach Neil Pickup felt he was unable to continue with the workload.
Coote and Clarke had planned on working together next season, but with the opportunity arising, they have moved those plans forward by a few months.
The duo both hold their Level Two coaching badges, as well as a wealth of footballing experience.
Coote, who played alongside boss Simon Whaley at Bury, has had a long career taking him to Mossley, Woodley, Trafford and Ramsbottom United.
Clarke, who also boasts teaching experience, played for Barrow, Rossendale, and Atherton Collieries prior to university, before moving to AFC Bury and finally the Dunscar Sports Complex.
