THE Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust will hold their first-ever Annual General Meeting tonight.

Doors open at 7pm in the Platinum Suite as some key issues go up for the vote which could the shape of things to come for the trust.

Chairman Ken Anderson had originally planned to attend and give an address to members but has been called away from the country on business. Senior club consultants Paul Aldridge and John Pelling are set to deputise.

Among the motions for debate are whether the trust should increase its independence from the club itself and whether the current board of five should be expanded to 10, with a broader diversity.

BBC Radio Manchester’s Jack Dearden will be hosting the event. A pay bar and refreshments will be available.

Members of the trust can apply for free tickets here and MUST bring their membership card with them. Non-members are also welcome to join on the night.
