BOLTON martial artist Saul 'Tha Hangman' Rogers continued his impressive win streak at the turn of the month, dominating Amsterdam native Michell Adelina en route to a first round submission victory at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow.

Farnworth's Rogers capitalised on the momentum from a recent victory over top UK veteran Andre Winner, his first outing since an undefeated stint on the UFC's 'Ultimate Fighter' reality show in Las Vegas.

Undefeated in three years, he man now boasts a 12-1 professional record.

As the head coach of his own gym, Saul Rogers MMA, in Farnworth, the talents MMA fighter is leading his troops from the front as success booms in the region.

Under Rogers, Kacper Zacada, Ashley Derbyshire and Jack Cartwright are all in preparation for ICE FC 18 at the Macron Stadium in Bolton on

Friday, October 28.

The burgeoning amateurs will all take to the cage off the back of victories and are looking to make an impact in their respective divisions.

They are not the only local interest on the ICE fight card, with Westhoughton's Scott Mitchell returning to the professional heavyweight division.

He has a tough opponent in Mindaugas Gerve, who represents Belfast's IFS and is undefeated so far in his career.

Leigh fighter Andrew Clamp (9-1) is the main event, as he looks for a third straight win to defend his ICE FC light heavyweight title against international opposition.

Promoter Carl Prince said: "This is a stacked card. We wanted to show we meant business as we came to a new venue at the Macron Stadium, and with so many local favourites and well-matched bouts, fans will be in for an exciting night of action."
