WANDERERS have now sold out their allocation for Monday’s much-anticipated derby at Bury.
The final 600 tickets were snapped up in less than 24 hours after the game at Millwall, meaning a travelling contingent of 3,200 will cheer Phil Parkinson’s side on at Gigg Lane.
Bury have confirmed that, as of last night, 3,700 seats had been sold for the game including season ticket holders.
The game pits the two local rivals in league action for the first time since 1999 and will be the 76th meeting between the two clubs in all competitions.
Wanderers have won their last four games without conceding a goal and sit third in the League One table, while David Flitcroft’s Shakers have wobbled since an encouraging start, losing their last five in all competitions and dropping to eighth.
