WANDERERS’ reward for beating Sheffield United on Sunday is a home clash with Crystal Palace in the FA Cup third round.
Alan Pardew’s Premier League side will come to the Macron in the New Year – potentially bringing with them former Whites favourite Chung-Yong Lee.
The South Korean star has featured 12 times for the Eagles this season despite being a largely peripheral figure since his move to Selhurst Park in 2015.
Chung-Yong, now 28, scored one of Wanderers’ most famous FA Cup goals in the last eight against Birmingham City in March 2011 to put Owen Coyle’s side through to a Wembley semi-final.
The two sides have only once met in the FA Cup, with Palace beating George Mulhall’s Wanderers 1-0 in 1982.
