DARREN Pratley has been given the all-clear by medics to make his Wanderers comeback.

The midfielder - who has been sidelined since the opening day of the season with a fractured ankle - had an X-ray this week to assess whether he would be able to resume full-contact training.

Pratley has been doing non-contact training for the last few weeks so could be plunged straight into action for the development squad, who take on Leeds United on Monday.

There is also good news for Max Clayton, who may also take part in the game next week after recovering from a minor issue with his knee.

The young striker had suffered some swelling around the joint after over-stretching in training but was given a clean bill of health by doctors.

Both players will be checked this weekend to make sure they can feature for David Lee’s side at Thorp Arch on Monday lunchtime.

“We’ll take a look at them on Sunday to see whether they play some part in the game on Monday,” Parkinson said.

“They have had a tough week, so there will be a recovery day first and then they can come in and train so that we can make that decision.

“It will be great to have them back.”
