MANNY Road secured the Bolton At Home Sunday League Division Two title at the weekend, their 3-2 win at Bradford Arms B putting them out of reach of second-placed Westhoughton.

Tom Kay’s side took the points at Harper Green through goals by Lee Hemmings, Ryan Aspinall and Xavier Close.

Chris Partington accounted for both of Bradford Arms’ goals.

Elsewhere in Division Two, Deane FC heaped more misery on bottom club Railway with a 6-1 victory.

Carl Dumbarton led the scoring with a hat-trick while Kenny Bateson netted twice and Stu Miss got the other.

In Division One, D Havilland caused the shock of the day as they beat table-toppers Queen Anne 2-1.

James Tobin scored the leaders’ goal while D Havilland’s scorers were Connor Cowie and Daley Cubbins as they climbed off the bottom of the table.

Propping up the rest are Hulton Wanderers, who lost 4-2 at Bridge Celtic.

Craig Walkden, Sean Jones, Greg Travers and Jake Ross were all on the mark for Hulton, Chris Farrell and Tom Letcher replied for Wanderers.

There was just one goal in the match between Great Lever Taskers and Farnworth United, but it was quite a strike as Gaz French secured three points for visitors Farnworth, thumping one in from 35 yards.
