CHARLES Musa won the Premier Division Individual Championship title.

The Nomads A man beat Stephen Scowcroft of Flixton Cricket Club A 11-8, 11-8, 2-11, 11-5 in the final.

Eight players took part in two groups of four, as also happened in the Division One championship in which Keith Howarth of Ramsbottom Town B beat Nadeem Ahmed of Nomads B 11-8, 12-10, 11-6 in the final.

The remaining divisions were played on a round-robin mini-league basis with all players playing each other once.

In Division Two, there were six entries with Matthew Fishwick of Hilton D finishing top followed by John Barker of Hilton E in second place.

In Division Three, only four players entered the competition and David Kakol of Polonia Club came first with Tom Dylan from St Paul’s Peel the runner-up.

Division Four had six entries with Steven Gao of Hilton I winning and Nathan Donaldson of Hilton J the runner-up.

The winners will receive a £20 cheque and the runners-up £10 providing they attend the finals and presentation night next Monday to collect it.

The closed championships take place this week with the junior tournament last night, all the cup finals tonight and the rest of the competitions over the weekend.
