WANDERERS say they are on course to surpass last year’s season ticket sales after an encouraging response to this season’s offer.
Despite prices returning to their 2015/16 levels - a rise in some cases of 13 per cent - the feelgood factor garnered from promotion appears to be having a positive effect on the take up of tickets.
Almost 7,000 have now been snapped up in the first fortnight, closing in on last season’s total of 10,000.
The early purchase deadline, which guarantees the lowest price, runs out on June 10 and fans are also reminded a five per cent discount can also be gained by joining the Lifeline lottery.
“We are delighted with the progress so far with many supporters purchasing season tickets for the very first time,” said ticket office manager Daniel Scott.
