A CHEERLEADING team which stormed the national championships earlier this year has now conquered Europe

Pure Poison, who are part of Pure Dance Workz, which trains at Kearsley Academy, won the senior pom dance duo and senior pom dance team events at the European Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.

Abbie Salt, the team coach who competed in the Pom Duo event with Adam Bennetta, said: “It was like a dream come true, we didn’t expect it at all.

“It was an experience we won’t forget.”
