Walkden T20 to get under way
WALKDEN Cricket Club's Twenty20 international tournament begins tomorrow night.
The event will see matches on each weeknight with professional players forming sides representing a number of countries including England, Pakistan, Zimbabwe and a Rest of the World XI.
Every team will play each other once and the top two will go through to the final.
Fixtures (all matches start at 6pm): Tomorrow – Pakistan XI v Rest of World XI, Friday – Pakistan XI v England XI, Monday – Zimbabwe XI v England XI, Tuesday – Zimbabwe XI v Rest of World XI, Wednesday, August 30 – Rest of World XI v England XI, Thursday, August 31 – Pakistan XI v Zimbabwe XI.
