WILL Buckley made his full return from injury as David Lee’s Under-23s ensured the good times kept on rolling at Wanderers.

The winger played 22 minutes of Saturday's 2-1 win over Norwich City but made his first start at any level since September 12, playing just over an hour at Leyland.

Craig Noone and Derik Osede were also included in a strong side who swept away Hull City 6-1 to record their third straight win, with the outstanding Connor Hall bagging a hat-trick.

Wanderers seized the advantage after just five minutes when Connor Hall raced on to a through ball from Jeff King and slotted his shot past Will Mannion.

And it didn’t take long before Derik doubled the lead with a rare goal – looping his header over the keeper from Buckley’s excellent deep cross.

The onslaught continued as Jack Earing went close but King did extend the lead with another neat finish after drifting round the keeper.

Tom Powell scored his fourth in four games for the Tigers to give them some hope half an hour in but the speed of Wanderers’ counter-attacking always had the visitors concerned and after Hall had gone close with one header he secured his second of the game on the stroke of half time, set-up by Buckley.

Four became five eight minutes into the second half as Noone’s shot deflected off Ellis Barkworth and past keeper Mannion – and Hall wrapped up his hat-trick with a fine header.
