GILL Caldwell continued her good form with second in her age group at the Trotters 5 road race.
Posting a time of 49mins 53secs, Caldwell replicated her overall age-group second place at the South East Lancashire Cross Country League meeting.
Kate Rotheram finished in an equally strong time of 51:39, and she continues her preparation for the Liverpool marathon at the Dentdale 14 this weekend.
Rotheram will be one of five Lostockers heading to Dent in the Yorkshire Dales for a race that is one of Lostock AC's qualifying events for its road race championship.
Andy Laycock, James Jackson, Cathy Stratton and Neil Shelmerdine will be heading to Rivington for the Firefighters 2 Up Duathlon – the classic team event which signifies the start of the local duathlon/triathlon season.
