WANDERERS are close to snapping up Polish right-back Pawel Olkowski on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old right-back has spent the last four seasons in Germany with FC Koln and has 13 caps for his country, the last of which came against Ireland in 2015.
Olkowski played in the Europa League last season and made his name as an attack-minded full-back, who can also fill-in on the left.
He made his name in Polish football with Gornik Zabrze, which earned an £800k move to Koln in 2014.
Reports in Poland claim the defender will sign a two-year deal at the Macron Stadium.
It is understood Wanderers are waiting on paperwork before the signing can be completed and formally announced.
