Bolton Over-35s League: THE top two met in Division One and it was Peake Fitness who came out on top in a tight game to replace Eagley Sweet Green as leaders.
Goals from Gary Fitzmartin and Jamie Reynolds cancelled out Phil Hutchinson's strike for Eagley and gave Peake the three points that moved them to the top and dropped Eagley down to third place.
Walkden Fives thrashed the Bay Mare Strollers 8-2 to move second after a great start for Walkden who were 4-0 up inside 15 minutes.
It was always uphill from there and most of the damage was done by man-of-the-match Des Morris who scored three and set up another three to cap a fine individual and team performance and leave the Bay Mare at the foot of the table.
Daten AFC and Dobbies B remain fifth and sixth respectively after a 3-3 draw with Ian Standish, Andy Turner and Rob Sopelsa scoring for Daten with Slater and two from Gary Davenport replying for Dobbies.
Monton Vets finally chalked up their first points after beating Dobbies C 5-2 to move off the bottom and it already looks like a three-horse race for the two relegation spots with the Bay Mare, Monton and Dobbies C finding life tough in the top flight this year.
