WANDERERS (4-2-3-1)

REMI MATTHEWS… 8

Came up with two marvellous saves in the first half – but could the communication have been better for Bristol’s goal?

JOSH EMMANUEL… 5.5

Didn’t get forward with the same urgency he normally does but it emerged after the game he had been laid low through illness. Subbed after half time.

LIAM EDWARDS… 6

Bit of a puzzler how Clarke’s cross evaded him at the near post, which put a spoiler on an otherwise decent display.

TOTO NSIALA… 8

Performer of the night for Wanderers. Solid and got his body in the way of most things that came his way.

BRANDON FLEMING… 6.5

Got forward well to link up with the attack and put a few decent crosses into the box. Looks a very reasonable addition.

JASON LOWE… 5.5

Worked hard in the middle and covered a lot of ground but it was all a bit too lateral, not enough penetration to worry the visitors.

LUKE MURPHY… 5.5

Like Lowe, tidy enough but really didn’t burst forward with any great urgency.

ETHAN HAMILTON… 6

Put a few good balls into the penalty box but didn’t have the energy we saw at Rochdale a few weeks back.

RONAN DARCY…5.5

Seemed on the periphery of the game for the most part in a wider position than usual. Lost a lot of impact.

DENNIS POLITIC… 6.5

When he got on the ball he looked dangerous but it wasn’t nearly enough on the night for the Wanderers fans’ liking.

DARYL MURPHY… 6

Scored his eighth goal of the season yet he struggled to link up with those around him all night.
