WANDERERS have rejected a £11million bid for Nicolas Anelka from Chelsea this afternoon.
The Londoners finally made their move for the much sought-after striker, but their approach was rebuffed by the Reebok side.
But Chelsea's opening offer is now likely to spark a bidding war with Manchester City, who have also been heavily linked with the former Arsenal, Real Madrid - and City - ace.
It is thought that Wanderers are holding out for nearer to £15m for their prized asset.
