BOLTON'S Intermediate Interleague team followed on from the junior side's success with a convincing 164(D)-140 victory over local rivals Bury.
The 18-25-years-old opened the batting and scored 139 runs, with Kirsty Turner the last batter and top scorer with 19 closely followed by Jenny Chadwick with 18, Rachel Morris with 17, and Lauren Ford with 16.
Bury replied with 81 and were forced to bat again. They only managed another 59 runs after excellent fielding from Bolton who needed just two runs for a win and Abbey Mort's rounder off the first ball clinched the victory. Nicola Mulroney, newly promoted from last year's junior side, was voted players' best player.
