WANDERERS' pre-season training base in Austria feels just like a home from home for defender Andy O'Brien.

The side flew out on Monday evening for an intensive training camp in the spa town of Bad Aussee, minus striker Johan Elmander, who had already travelled to Austria once this summer when playing for Sweden in Euro 2008.

"It's like being back at home because it's chucking it down," O'Brien said. "We have done a lot of fitness and physical work so far and that's the procedure for the rest of the week - double sessions, eating properly and recovering in the evening."

The players fly back to England on Sunday to make preparations for their first pre-season game, at Rochdale, on Friday, July 25.
