FA Cup Preliminary Round

PAUL Crompton will resume his strike partnership with Phil Howard when Atherton LR get back on the FA Cup trail at Chorley tomorrow.
The powerful front man, missing because of holday commitments, returned as substitite in the home defeat by New Mills last week and had a runout in the reserves in midweek to gear up for the Preliminary round tie against the UniBond League outfit.
Radcliffe Borough will be aiming to put Monday’s 2-1 defeat by Chorley behind them when they face Winterton Rangers at Stainton Park tomorrow.
Boro, who lifted the Manchester Cup at the back end of their last campaign, have had a decent start to their Unibond First Division North season, with two away wins, but they have yet to win at home. Kick off against the side from the Eastern Counties Premier Division team is 3pm.
