SIXTEEN-year-old Bolton athlete Jamie Crompton has been invited to run at the British Grand Prix at Crystal Palace on Saturday, July 25.
The middle distance runner from Johnson Fold, who is ranked number one in the country at under-17, has been invited by UK Athletics to run the under-20 3,000m at Britain’s showpiece track and field event to further his development.
The Horwich Harrier today looks for his first national track title when he competes in the English Schools Championships at Sheffield in the 1,500m steeplechase.
