BADMINTON: Title success for Wallwork

JENNY Wallwork celebrated winning her first national title — then added a second.
The Bolton-born star and Nathan Robertson defeated three-times champion Anthony Clark and Heather Olver 21-15 21-11 in Sunday’s English National Championships at Manchester Velodrome.
And Wallwork added to Oliver’s disappointment when the 24-year-old and Gabby White beat her and Avon’s Mariana Agathangelou 21-19 21-23 21-11 after a 62-minute battle.
Wallwork, who now lives in Leeds, will now turn her attentions to next month’s All England open championship in Birmingham in preparation for the Commonwealth Games in India in October.
