THAI BOXING: Bolton cruiserweight Jake Waterworth had a winning debut at 87 kilos when he knocked out his Liverpool opponent Ray Delanie at the city’s Kirkby Inn.
The 20-year-old has been training at Sandy Holt’s Bolton Thai Boxing Club for the last five months.
His stablemate and North West middleweight champion Matt Montague will be fighting in a five-round contest at the Reebok’s Devere Whites Hotel on Saturday, May 15, when he will be on the undercard to a world title fight.
