Iqbal impresses with a silver medal

BOXING: FARNWORTH schoolboy Sahir Iqbal is celebrating after winning a silver medal at the European Championships in Yambol, Bulgaria.
The 14-year-old, who was part of a seven-man British squad that won one gold medal, two silvers and a bronze, lost to Russian Bartsch Rustam in the final.
Earlier in the competition he beat both Kutepov Vladyslav (Ukraine) and Asenov Katin (Bulgaria) on point decisions.
