DAVE Hanlon struck twice as Eagley beat old rivals Turton 5-1 in the last-eight of the Hospital Cup.
Danny Warburton, Hanlon and Mark Truffas gave the home side a 3-0 half-time lead on Thursday night.
After Jordan McLoughlan pulled one back five minutes after the break, Mason McClelland scored an own goal to make it 4-1 to Eagley, and Hanlon rounded off the scoring on 72 minutes.
Tempest joined Eagley – along with Wednesday night’s quarter-final winners Little Lever Sports Club and Castle Hill – in the semi-finals when they came back from 2-0 down to beat Chew Moor Brook on penalties.
Adam Farrell and Michael McGinlay scored for the West Lancashire League Division Two side in the opening 26 minutes.
Chris Farnworth halved the deficit for the Premier Division outfit on the hour, and an Aaron Rushton own goal seven minutes from time took the derby to penalties which the hosts won 7-6.
Eagley meet Castle Hill in the last four, with Little Lever facing Tempest on dates and grounds to be announced.
