CHEERS Bar went top of Division One with a 3-0 victory over Pineapple in one of only two games played on a weather-ravaged Sunday.

After a goalless first half, two goals from Carlton Jordan and one from Darrell Dicken gave Cheers the three points which sent them two points clear of Salford Waggon.

Queen Lizzie rose two places to fourth in the same division when first-half goals from Trevor Hill and James Russell gave them a 2-0 win at second-bottom Victoria.

The draws for the semi-final of the Divisional Cups are as follows: Division One Cup: Queen Lizzie v Daten, Radcliffe Old Boys A v Victoria.

Division Two Cup: Henighans Vets v Moorside Rangers, Turton Bay Mare v Old Boltonians AFC.

Division Three Cup: Elton Liberal v Radcliffe Old Boys B, Golborne Parkside Vets v Ainsworth B or BLGC.

Games to take place on February 23.

The outstanding match between Ainsworth B and BLGC is scheduled for the same day, meaning the semi-final between the winners of that tie and Golborne Parkside will have to be arranged for a later date.

The Sam Ashworth Trophy semi-finals are scheduled to be played on Sunday, March 9, with the draw as follows: Turton Bay Mare or Cheers Bar Vets v Salford Waggon or Queen Lizzie, PF Bury v Atherton Town or BLGC (second round) or Daten (quarter-final).

The finals will be played on April 27 and May 4, at Radcliffe Borough with matches in the morning and afternoon.

Tempest United’s ground, which was used last year, is unavailable.
